Corona Marathon 2020 is a virtual sporting event for all ages. The aim of this event is to motivate people to move and lead a healthy lifestyle even in the midst of this challenging and difficult situation when the world is battling the COVID-19 disease. It is up to you whether you choose to: walk, skate, run or cycle – all physical activity is accepted.
Sport together, help together.
Everywhere you look, you see CHALLENGES left and right and slogans saying “LET’S SHAKE UP THE WORLD TOGETHER” or similar-sounding SUPER MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES.
We have a different view and we think that:
Although you can CHALLENGE or even MOTIVATE people, is it the right thing to do? You could even motivate Yogi Bear to climb to the top of Mont Blanc and maybe you will eventually succeed and Yogi Bear will reach the top of the mountain.
But is it truly what Yogi Bear wanted? Wasn’t he happier stealing picnic baskets from tourists at Yellowstone National Park after all? Just imagine hungry Yogi Bear standing at the top of Mont Blanc, where he will certainly not find any picnic baskets. Do you think Yogi Bear would be happy on top of Mont Blanc? We don’t think so.
That is why we do not try to motivate people and we will not encourage you to do something you yourself do not want to do. It is up to you to choose what you want to do. We do not try to “shake up the world”, as we think the world is turning and moving at a too-fast pace already.
Every single one of our events is and will be non-competitive. Everyone can become a CHAMPION with us. After all, is there anything better than doing sports in nature with your family and friends? Our aim is to motivate people to go for a walk, go run together, go on a bike trip or simply do sports with a smile on their faces and do it all just for the fun of it.
We also do not forget about those people who lack such smiles and joy and who cannot move as much as we, the healthy ones, can. That is why each of our events supports a specific person. This support is warranted simply by doing sports together – and thus helping one another.
We do not support any specific organisations, because we find that helping an organisation helps everybody and nobody at the same time. That is why all our contributions go directly to one specific person or family who is in need of help.
Kind regards, Your Virtual Championship Team

Thank you so much for the possibility to participate in your wonderful race. It was one of the best competitions I’ve ever taken part in. You can choose from various tracks based on your skills or try them all; it’s great that the ribbons have different colours based on distance. It’s a beautiful collectionThe medals are gorgeous, they were delivered a week after we submitted the number of kilometres. Thank you very much and I look forward to your next race

Hello, First of all, thank you very much again for the beautiful medal for the 10km run. I discovered you by chance when I saw your Facebook ad. Your medal’s design immediately caught my eye. I’m not a fan of popularizing some virus, but the medal will always remind me that even during the terrible Covid-19 pandemic, I didn’t lie on the couch and did something good for my health. This medal will also remind me that I helped a girl who needed it during such a difficult period. As for your customer service, thumbs up. The address where the medal was supposed to be delivered was incorrect. We fixed the problem together and now I have the medal at homeThanks again and I will definitely take part in your next race. I talk about you a lot with friends and I’ve already convinced many colleagues and friends who also want the medal after I showed them mine. Many thanks. Best Regards
